Financial Aid

Types of Financial Aid Programs:
Students attending International School of Skin and Nailcare may be eligible to participate in a variety of federal and or state financial aid programs if they qualify. Federal financial aid includes the Pell Grant, Stafford Loan and Direct Loan programs. Recently, the Pell Grant was increased and the student loan interest rate was decreased. This is an excellent time to apply for federal financial aid. In addition, the school is approved to issue the I-20 student visa to eligible non-immigrant alien students. Some students may also be eligible to participate in certain Social Security Beneficiary programs. The school is approved for Veterans Education (VA) benefits to eligible veterans and to enroll students as vocational rehabilitation participants through the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Programs. The school is also approved to participate in the Americorp Loan Program.

Application Process:
The application process for most programs is relatively easy and the financial aid staff at the school will assist you with this process. Usually this begins by supplying the required documentation needed to participate in the program(s) and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Once we have the required documents, we can process, within a few minutes, the application to determine what programs you qualify for. It is also possible to apply for federal financial aid online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. You may use the school’s code number 017286 to have the FAFSA information sent electronically when you apply. The school does not charge a fee to apply for financial aid. All students applying for any financial aid programs must visit the school’s financial aid office prior to enrolling and starting school. Many programs are processed electronically which may expedite the application process.

Eligibility:
Participating in any financial aid programs depends on meeting the federal or state agency requirements. When you visit the school, the financial aid office can discuss eligibility requirements for these programs and assist you with the application process for the programs in which you are eligible to participate. Financial aid programs are also available to certain non-U.S. citizens that qualify.
