HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL
Since 1985, ISSN has successfully been training students to be licensed estheticians and nail technicians.
It was the first school in the U.S. to be nationally accredited exclusively for esthetician training. Since the beginning, the school has trained thousands of students from Georgia and all over the world.
The school has graduates in at least 25 states and 10 different countries plus many cruise ships throughout the world. Graduates now enjoy many diverse
professional careers in a variety of fields including the rapidly growing spa and salon industries, the medical profession, entertainment industries, travel and resorts,
cosmetic industry just to name a few. In addition, many of our graduates choose to be self-employed in one or more of these industries.
Employers
have come to depend on ISSN for their staffing needs. The school is now
the largest esthetician and nail technician school in the southeast United
States with an enrollment of approximately 300 students. It is now
recognized as the industry leader for training and facilities in the
southeast. Several advanced course offerings are also available so that
our graduates may have continuing education opportunities in keeping with
the schools commitment of continuing support of graduates.
FACILITIES
ISSN is located in the Sandy Springs area of Atlanta, Georgia. The physical address is 5600 Roswell
Road, Atlanta, Ga. 30342. We are in The Prado Mall, at the intersection of I-285 and Roswell Road, 1/4 mile inside
the perimeter. The facilities include approximately 1100 sq. ft. of state-of-the-art training facilities including a spa
clinic open to the general public. The school has ample convenient parking at no cost to the students and is also
located on the MARTA transit line. Facilities are air conditioned, barrier free and fully accessible to the
handicapped. The facilities include 28 manicure stations, 10 pedicure stations, 40 estheticians beds, state of the art
esthetician equipment, 11 clinic rooms, 5 lecture classrooms, 1 media center, 1 inside and 1 outside student break area.
ACCREDITATIONS
The school is nationally accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE) which
is approved by the U.S. Department of Education and the Commission on Post-Secondary Education.
APPROVALS
ISSN is licensed and approved by the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology. The school is approved for training by the Veterans Administration and the Vocational Rehabilitation Agency, U.S. Citizenship and
Immigration Services and for Social Security beneficiaries.
INSTRUCTORS
There are ten(1) esthetician instructors and a make up instructor in the esthetician programs and three(3)
nail technician instructors in the nail technician programs. The largest and most experienced instructional staff in Georgia.
EQUIPMENT
State-of-the-art equipment is maintained in all programs for both the student and the instructors.
JOB PLACEMENT
The school employees a full time job placement assistance counselor to work with approximately 350 employers a year in Georgia, the U.S. and with international employers as well as to assist students
and graduates in job placement. Graduates can look forward to a variety of career options in Georgia, throughout the U.S. and the world. ISSN consistently maintains more job opportunities for its graduates then there are graduates to
fill the jobs. Employers over the years have relied on ISSN as their primary source for staffing, especially
in the greater Atlanta Metropolitan area.
SPA CLIENTELE
Practical hands-on experience is the foundation of the training at ISSN. The school's spa services are acknowledged as the best services for the price in Atlanta. Between 1100 - 1500 clients utilize the spa services each month enriching the training and developing practical skills and experience for the students.
ADVANCED COURSES
Students and graduates are eligible to attend a variety of advanced courses in medical
esthetics, make up, massage and waxing. All courses include practical hands-on training, instruction by industry experts and certificates of competency.

FLEXIBLE CLASS SCHEDULES
The school offers several class schedules for the students. Students can
choose from three class schedules for the skin care program either morning, afternoon or night classes are available
Nail Technician students can choose from day or night class schedules. In addition, the school starts new classes every month allowing students to start classes as soon as possible.
This allows the student to acquire his/her career training while at the same time maintaining their busy personal and business schedules.
CAREER MOBILITY AVAILABLE
Georgia has reciprocity with most states in the U.S. making it convenient to move from
state to state without returning to a school to complete state requirements for licensing. Graduates of ISSN have and continue to be successful in many states and countries.
